Oregon High School Basketball - Rogue River overwhelms St. Mary's
January 5, 2024: Rogue River, OR 97537 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) and the visiting St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), saw Rogue River's basketball squad wallop St. Mary's by a count of 46-25.
With the victory, Rogue River upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Knights in a 3A Far West challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. North Valley lost 26-18 in their recent league challenge against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 49-35 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR).
