California High School Basketball - Biggs tops Las Plumas
January 5, 2024: Oroville, CA 95966 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) and the host Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA), saw Biggs's basketball squad knock off Las Plumas by a tally of 32-19.
With the victory, Biggs improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Orland (Orland, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Orland won 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, CA)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Las Plumas will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 30-18 non-league loss to Quincy (Quincy, CA).
