North Carolina High School Basketball - Jordan-Matthews nips Lee County
January 5, 2024: Siler City, NC 27344 Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 36-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jordan-Matthews upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Jets host Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
