Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Mattawan knocks off Romeo
January 5, 2025: Mattawan, MI 49071 In Sunday's non-league contest, the host Mattawan Wildcats ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the Romeo Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Romeo will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI).
