Nebraska High School Basketball - Pierce crushes Aquinas
January 6, 2022: David City, NE 68632 Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 64-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pierce upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Bluejays host North Bend Central (North Bend, NE) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. North Bend Central lost 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE)
Next up, the Monarchs clash with the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a C2 District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, NE).
