Louisiana High School Basketball - Archbishop Shaw can't hold off Ridge View
January 6, 2022: Marrero, LA 70072 The Ridge View Blazers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Archbishop Shaw Eagles to 46 in the Blazers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blazers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florida State University High School for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Ridge View will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 71-45 non-league win over Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Seminoles record now stands at 9-3.
The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jesuit (New Orleans, LA). The Blue Jays come into the 5A District 9 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Jesuit edged Morris Jeff Community (New Orleans, LA), 60-26, in a non-league contest.
