Missouri High School Basketball - Centralia can't hold off Hannibal
January 6, 2022: Centralia, MO 65240 The Hannibal Pirates basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the host Centralia Panthers to 27 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Hannibal will battle a Owls team coming off a 56-53 non-league loss to Odessa (Odessa, MO). The Owls record now stands at 1-7.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Russellville (Russellville, MO). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Russellville was nudged by California (California, MO), 68-59, in a non-league contest.
