Florida High School Basketball - King's Academy overwhelms Glades Day
January 6, 2022: Belle Glade, FL 33430 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the King's Academy Lions (West Palm Beach, FL) and the host Glades Day Gators (Belle Glade, FL), saw King's Academy's basketball squad wallop Glades Day by a tally of 76-38.
With the victory, King's Academy improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Stoneman Douglas won 77-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL)
Next up, the Gators confront the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks (Hollywood, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 10. Glades Day will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Sharks go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 65-59 league win over Horeb Christian (Hialeah, FL).
