Alabama High School Basketball - Pike County overwhelms Goshen
January 6, 2022: Brundidge, AL 36010 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) and the visiting Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL), saw Pike County's basketball squad wallop Goshen by a tally of 65-31.
With the victory, Pike County improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to New Brockton (New Brockton, AL) to play the Gamecocks in a 3A Area 4 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Gamecocks come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. New Brockton lost 61-42 in their recent league challenge against Opp (Opp, AL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 7. Goshen will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 53-39 league loss to Highland Home (Highland Home, AL).
