Oregon High School Basketball - Sumner knocked off by Lake Oswego
January 6, 2022: Lake Oswego, OR 97034 The Lake Oswego Lakers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Sumner Spartans to 57 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lakers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Linn for a 6A Three Rivers contest on Wednesday, January 12. Lake Oswego will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-44 non-league win over Westview (Portland, OR). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves enter the 4A South Puget Sound contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, South Kitsap was defeated by Olympia (Olympia, WA), 60-29, in a league contest.
