Idaho High School Basketball - Twin Falls can't hold off Minico

January 6, 2022: Rupert, ID 83350

The Minico Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Twin Falls Bruins to 46 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelley for a non-league contest on Monday, January 10. Minico will battle a Russets team coming off a 77-45 league loss to Hillcrest (Idaho Falls, ID). The Russets record now stands at 7-2.

The Bruins (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Preston (Preston, ID). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Preston edged Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID), 61-50, in a non-league contest.
