Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rockville Rams (Rockville, MD), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Watkins Mill upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Wolverines host Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Blue Devils in a Montgomery 3A/2A bout on Monday, January 10. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Springbrook lost 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Blake (Silver Spring, MD)
