Colorado High School Basketball - Valley overwhelms Eagle Ridge Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO) and the host Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors (Brighton, CO), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Eagle Ridge Academy by a tally of 50-8.

With the victory, Valley improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Eaton (Eaton, CO) to confront the Reds in a 3A Patriot challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Reds come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Eaton won 54-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Kent Denver (Englewood, CO)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Eagle Ridge Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 42-18 league win over Banning Lewis Academy (Colorado Springs, CO).
