South Dakota High School Basketball - Herreid/Selby tops Faulkton
January 6, 2022: Herreid, SD 57632 Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), 53-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Herreid/Selby upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Langford (Langford, SD) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Langford won 55-53 in their recent non-league bout against Iroquois/Doland (Iroquois, SD)
Next up, the Trojans play the North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) in a B Region 2 battle, on Saturday, January 8. Faulkton will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Thunder come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 64-31 non-league loss to Warner (Warner, SD).
