Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) and the visiting Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX), saw Anson's basketball squad overcome Haskell by a tally of 36-26.

With the victory, Anson improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hamlin (Hamlin, TX) to confront the Pied Pipers in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Pied Pipers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
