Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 48-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archbishop Shaw upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, TN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Bartlett won 48-39 in their recent non-league bout against Newman (New Orleans, LA)
