Texas High School Basketball - Wall trounces Ballinger
January 6, 2023: Wall, TX 76957 The Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX), 53-23 in Friday's league test.
The Hawks (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region I District 6 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Coahoma was trounced by Merkel (Merkel, TX), 53-51, in a league test.
The Bearcats now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 test on Tuesday, January 10. Ballinger will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 60-58 league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-5.
