California High School Basketball - Beckman holds off Laguna Hills
January 6, 2023: Irvine, CA 92602 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) and the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks (Laguna Hills, CA), saw Beckman's basketball squad hold off Laguna Hills by a tally of 66-60.
With the victory, Beckman improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA) to confront the Lightning in a Pacific Coast challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 4-10.
Next up, the Hawks confront the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Laguna Hills will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 64-51 league loss to Irvine (Irvine, CA).
