The Regents Lions (Charlottesville, VA) basketball nipped the host Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA), 43-36 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Fairfax HomeSchool was tipped by Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA), 85-29, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Appalachian Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10.
