January 6, 2023: Cheyenne, WY 82009 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Bearcats (Douglas, WY) and the host Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY), saw Douglas's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 42-40.
With the victory, Douglas improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to East (Cheyenne, WY) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. East won 64-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO)
Next up, the Indians play the Rock Springs Tigers (Rock Springs, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Central will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Natrona County (Casper, WY).
