The Central Hawks basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lamar County Trojans to 56 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Macon County for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. Central will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-53 league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-2.
