January 6, 2023: Trussville, AL 35173 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) and the visiting Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL), saw Hewitt-Trussville's basketball squad wallop Chelsea by a count of 59-31.
With the victory, Hewitt-Trussville upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 7A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Oak Mountain lost 76-39 in their recent league challenge against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)
Next up, the Hornets play the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a 7A Area 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Chelsea will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 76-39 league win over Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL).
