January 6, 2023: Diamond, MO 64840 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO) and the host Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO), saw Seneca's basketball squad hold off Diamond by a count of 58-55.
With the victory, Seneca upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Cassville (Cassville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Big 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Cassville lost 39-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Miami (Miami, OK)
Next up, the Wildcats play the East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Diamond will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 73-46 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, MO).
