Tennessee High School Basketball - Dobyns-Bennett crushes West Ridge
January 6, 2023: Kingsport, TN 37664 Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN), 71-50 in a league bout.
With the victory, Dobyns-Bennett upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Daniel Boone (Gray, TN) to play the Trailblazers in a 4A District 1 bout on Friday, January 13. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Daniel Boone won 55-40 in their recent non-league bout against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN)
Next up, the Wolves play the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. West Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
