The Follett Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Shamrock Irish to 18 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Elliott for a 1A Region I District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Follett will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-27 league loss to Miami (Miami, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.

The Irish (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Indians enter the 2A Region I District 2 contest with a 14-10 record.
