Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI), 75-72 in a league bout.

With the win, Western International upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Cowboys host Southeastern (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Jungaleers in a Detroit Public I bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Jungaleers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Southeastern lost 66-24 in their recent league bout against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Ford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
