Tennessee High School Basketball - Melrose can't hold off Hamilton
January 6, 2023: Memphis, TN 38106 The Hamilton Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Melrose Golden Wildcats to 57 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeway for a 3A District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Hamilton will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Roadrunners record now stands at 5-8.
The Golden Wildcats (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Booker T. Washington (Memphis, TN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record.
