The Scammon Bay Eagles (Scammon Bay, AK) basketball nipped the visiting Hooper Bay Warriors (Hooper Bay, AK), 106-103 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Pilot Station (Pilot Station, AK). The King Salmon go into the 1A Yukon Delta test with a 0-0 record.

The Warriors now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Hooper Bay will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 48-33 non-league win over Chevak (Chevak, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-3.
