January 6, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) and the visiting Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL), saw Joliet West's basketball squad overcome Minooka by a tally of 61-42.
With the victory, Joliet West improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Rolling Meadows won 56-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
Next up, the Indians confront the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Minooka will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 63-54 league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL).
