Louisiana High School Basketball - Northside overwhelms Lafayette
January 6, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70501 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), saw Northside's basketball squad wallop Lafayette by a tally of 71-38.
With the victory, Northside improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. East Ascension lost 67-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL)
Next up, the Lions confront the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Lafayette will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 60-46 non-league win over Northwood (Lena, LA).
