Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southeast of Saline Trojans (Gypsum, KS) and the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS), saw Southeast of Saline's basketball squad wallop Minneapolis by a tally of 69-27.

With the victory, Southeast of Saline improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Clay Center won 67-47 in their recent league challenge against Chapman (Chapman, KS)

Next up, the Lions confront the Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Minneapolis will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 75-51 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, KS).
