January 6, 2023: West Fargo, ND 58078 The West Fargo Packers (West Fargo, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets (New Rockford, ND), 74-64 in Friday's non-league test.
The Packers (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Knights go into the A East test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Grand Forks Central notched a victory over Fargo North (Fargo, ND), 68-66, in a league test.
The Rockets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Red River for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. New Rockford-Sheyenne will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 83-54 league win over Valley City (Valley City, ND). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-1.
