Quakertown Panthers (Quakertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA), 48-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Quakertown upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to William Tennent (Warminster, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a Suburban One - American bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Science Leadership Academy (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Springfield Township will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 37-36 league loss to Parkway West (Philadelphia, PA).
