January 6, 2023: Fort Worth, TX 76106 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX) and the host Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), saw Benbrook's basketball squad hold off Diamond Hill-Jarvis by a tally of 49-43.
With the victory, Benbrook improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Young Women's Leadership Academy (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Lady Owls in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lady Owls come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Young Women's Leadership Academy won 47-38 in their recent league challenge against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Dunbar Wildcats (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Diamond Hill-Jarvis will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 67-7 league win over Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX).
