January 6, 2023: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) and the visiting Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA), saw Lewis Central's basketball squad wallop Clarinda by a tally of 57-31.
With the victory, Lewis Central improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Creston (Creston, IA) to confront the Panthers in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Clarinda will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 35-24 league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
