The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans basketball team (Meridian, MS), was toppled 33-24 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS)

The Gators now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Choctaw Central for a 4A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Leake Central will confront a Warriors team coming off a 63-46 league win over Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.
