Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), 31-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Midway upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Conference 7 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-3. St. Pauls won 70-47 in their recent league bout against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a 2A Conference 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Red Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Dark Horses go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 61-28 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC).
