January 6, 2023: Rangely, CO 81648 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) and the host Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO), saw North Fork's basketball squad overcome Rangely by a tally of 38-25.
With the victory, North Fork improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Gunnison (Gunnison, CO) to confront the Cowboys in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Friday, January 13. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Gunnison lost 62-28 in their recent league challenge against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Soroco Rams (Oak Creek, CO) in a 2A/1A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Rangely will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Sangre de Cristo (Mosca, CO).
