South Carolina High School Basketball - Oceanside Collegiate Academy overwhelms Woodland
January 6, 2023: Dorchester, SC 29437 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) and the host Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC), saw Oceanside Collegiate Academy's basketball squad wallop Woodland by a tally of 54-15.
With the victory, Oceanside Collegiate Academy improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Landsharks travel to Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC) to play the Raptors in a AA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Raptors come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Academic Magnet lost 66-30 in their recent league challenge against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 69-41 non-league loss to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).
