Louisiana High School Basketball - Stanley knocked off by Starks
January 6, 2023: Logansport, LA 71049 The Starks Panthers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Stanley Panthers to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson Bayou for a C District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Starks will battle a Rebels team coming off a 51-30 non-league loss to Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-7.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Florien (Florien, LA). The Blackcats enter the B District 3 contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Florien ran past Ebarb (Noble, LA), 83-47, in a non-league contest.
