Florida High School Basketball - Bartow overwhelmed by Lake Region
January 6, 2023: Bartow, FL 33830 The Lake Region Thunder basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Bartow Yellow Jackets to 12 in the Thunder non-league victory on Friday.
The Thunder now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Jenkins for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Lake Region will battle a Eagles team coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
The Yellow Jackets (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.
