North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory Christian Academy holds off Carolina Day
January 6, 2023: Asheville, NC 28803 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) and the host Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), saw Hickory Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Carolina Day by a tally of 33-32.
With the victory, Hickory Christian Academy improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Knights host South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) to confront the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. South Charlotte Thunder won 58-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Asheville Trailblazers (Asheville, NC)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Carolina Day will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
