Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Central Carolina Prep Defenders (Burlington, NC), 56-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greater Cabarrus Stallions upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Woodlawn (Davidson, NC) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Woodlawn lost 61-44 in their recent non-league bout against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC)
