Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Wapahani upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Raiders host Cowan (Muncie, IN) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Royals play the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Eastern Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 50-15 non-league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN).
