Ohio High School Basketball - Archbold overwhelms Waite
January 6, 2024: Archbold, OH 43502 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Archbold Blue Streaks (Archbold, OH) and the visiting Waite Indians (Toledo, OH), saw Archbold's basketball squad wallop Waite by a count of 71-37.
With the victory, Archbold upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Bryan (Bryan, OH) to play the Golden Bears in a Northwest Ohio challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Bryan won 60-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Rossford (Rossford, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Waite will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 61-54 league loss to Napoleon (Napoleon, OH).
