Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeview Academy topped by Athens Christian
January 6, 2024: Athens, GA 30601 The Athens Christian Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Lakeview Academy Lions to 54 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elbert County for a A D1 Region 8 contest on Friday, January 12.
The Lions (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Knights come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 contest with a 5-5 record.
