Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC), 67-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berry upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Cardinal host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Providence lost 56-32 in their recent league bout against Independence (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Johnsonville Flashes (Johnsonville, SC) in a A Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 12. Hemingway will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Flashes go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 68-60 non-league loss to Hannah-Pamplico (Pamplico, SC).
