January 6, 2024: Orrville, AL 36767 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Keith Bears (Orrville, AL) and the visiting Charles Henderson Trojans (Troy, AL), saw Keith's basketball squad hold off Charles Henderson by a tally of 63-59.
With the victory, Keith improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Linden (Linden, AL) to confront the Patriots in a 1A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Linden lost 83-34 in their recent league challenge against Hatch (Uniontown, AL)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) in a 5A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Charles Henderson will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 69-44 league win over Greenville (Greenville, AL).
