The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Clovis Cougars to 56 in the Rough Riders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanger West for a North Yosemite contest on Tuesday, January 9. Roosevelt will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Mendota (Mendota, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-7.
