January 6, 2024: Scottsdale, AZ 85257 In Saturday's non-league outing, the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), by a count of 1-0.
The Fighting Lobos (6-13) will now prepare for their outing against Da Vinci (El Paso, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 17-9 record. In their last outing, Da Vinci held off La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ), 75-33, in a non-league outing.
The Dons now hold a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Saguaro for a non-league outing on Monday, January 8. Coronado will clash with a Sabercats squad coming off a 67-64 league loss to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 4-9.
